About Jeff.

My name is Jeffrey M. Cohen and I’m running to be your state representative in Olympia representing Washington’s 36th Legislative District. 

All of us are fortunate to live in an incredible part of the world.  I’ve been a Seattleite since 1996 when I relocated here after college.  I’ve worked in the private sector my entire professional career, and have been in the travel and tourism industry for the past 13 years.  I’ve been extremely blessed with the opportunity to visit and experience many places around the world, but to be honest, no place else has anything on our beautiful community.  This is home. 

Yet there are important and pressing issues that we face here – the high cost of housing, access to affordable healthcare, and advocacy for our seniors, communities of color, and the most vulnerable amongst us. It is the responsibility of all of us to keep our community thriving and environmentally-sustainable for the generations that will come after us.  I will work tirelessly for the issues that you care about.

This campaign isn’t about me, it’s about the residents of the 36th District and the issues that matter most to them.  I would be honored to be your voice in Olympia as we work together to help solve the issues that face our state and community.  I ask for your vote.
